We are primarily appointment-only, but walk-ins may be accommodated depending on artist availability. Call ahead to check!
We recommend booking 2-4 weeks in advance, especially for larger or custom pieces. Flash tattoos and smaller work may have shorter wait times.
For custom work, yes — a consultation (in person or via email) helps us understand your vision, discuss placement, and provide accurate pricing. Flash pieces can often be booked directly.
Pain & Preparation
Pain varies by person and placement. Bony areas (ribs, spine, ankles) tend to be more sensitive, while fleshy areas (outer arm, thigh) are typically less painful. Most people describe it as a "hot scratching" sensation. It's very manageable!
Get a good night's sleep, eat a full meal, stay hydrated, wear comfortable clothing, and avoid alcohol or blood thinners for 24 hours before. Check out our Before Your Appointment guide for the full list.
Avoid aspirin and ibuprofen (blood thinners) as they increase bleeding. Acetaminophen (Tylenol) is okay. Do not come to your appointment under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Pricing & Payment
Pricing depends on size, detail, placement, and artist. Our shop minimum is $100, and hourly rates typically range from $150-$250/hr. Your artist will provide a personalized quote during consultation.
Yes. A non-refundable deposit ($50-$100 depending on the project) is required to secure your appointment. The deposit is applied toward the final cost of your tattoo.
Cash (preferred), Venmo, Zelle, and Cash App. Credit/debit may be accepted — confirm with your artist.
Tipping is not required but is always appreciated. Industry standard is 15-20% of the total tattoo cost. Tips can be given in cash or via the same digital payment methods.
Design & Process
Absolutely! Bring reference images, sketches, or Pinterest boards. Your artist will work with you to adapt and refine the design for the best result as a tattoo.
Custom designs are typically finalized 1-2 days before your appointment, sometimes the day of. This allows time for any last-minute adjustments. Your artist will share the design before starting.
Of course! Revisions are part of the process. We want you to be 100% happy with the design before any ink touches your skin.
Yes! Our artists have experience with cover-ups and reworks. Send us a clear photo of the existing tattoo during consultation so we can advise on the best approach.
